Lower quality or cheaper UV light systems often have low wattage bulbs and they are simply not going to do much good. You also want a plastic or nylon mounting system—those with metal mounts tend to rust and need replacing. UV light can permanently damage your eyes, so when installing replacement UV bulbs, turn the units off, replace the bulbs, close the duct work access door, then turn the unit back on.
